For that to work, one visit (hit) to the page would have to be WAY less than a kilobyte which is hella small.

3 GB of bandwidth per month means you can have a total of 3 gigabytes worth of stuff (HTML, graphics, fonts :p, and other files) downloaded from your site per month.

there is no REAL forumla, for all the calculations are rough estimates. just make sure to make your pages good looking yet low bandwidth consuming. 35 KB per page is preferable.

ouch, my pages must be way more than 35kb -- what with all the font graphics and all.

Since you have a download site, go to Tera-Byte.com and signup for their $9.95/mo. You get 99MBs of space and 20GBs transfer/mo. which is plenty. It's like a 100$ if you pay the whole year in advance and well worth it. All the websites I've made for businesses I suggest them because they are the best IMO.

I didn't know TB was having problems because of spaceports?
I read about the network problems at webhostingtalk or geekvillage. I don't remember where.

I dunno...is tera-byte worth the $9.95?...
below10 offers a LOT more, and I can get all I need and a lil' more for only $7.
my download files are located on another server ... hehehe :)

Terra-Byte has super support. All emails are answered within 30 mins. So if you are overall looking for a good company, TB is good value for money. They have a good reputation.
