I missed it, but yes it was down apparently. I'm not sure for how long it was down though. And I don't know why.

I assumed it was another DNS issue on my end... guess not.

It was down for a good 4-6 hours. I spoke with Todd and he wasn't aware it was down. Thankfully he got it up quickly. Thanks Todd!

I always always miss the downtime. Must be my superb intuition about these kind of things.
Either that or someone in Australia ----ing things up while I'm sleeping. :D

I assumed it was down, because nothing ever happens to my computer or my ISP. It's always up, so anything that's down is the site's fault!

Don't blame me, it was down when I woke :p
Hadn't received any mails for hours either. They all come flooding in at once when it was fixed.

Yeah I got the downtime, and some of my clients from FWS were also asking if it wasn't working for me as well. Thankfully it's up now. :)

Robert told me earlier that it was down for two hours. At that point the server could be pinged, but SSH wasn't working. (All services were failing for that matter.) We've noticed it a couple of times where Debian on kernel 2.6.8 has processes enter a D state, and a reboot is required. Anyway, I immediately drove to the datacenter, but had some delays with traffic. Once I arrived the issue was taken care of within a couple of minutes.
Anyway, I do apologize for the issue. Hopefully we'll fix the root of the issue, but if not an APC MasterSwitch will be arriving in the near future. It was previously in use at the old datacenter, but I've submitted the request to get it shipped here.
Once again I apologize for the downtime.

I don't care, it's not like I'm going to blame anyone else. I can't believe you don't think this is your fault. Honestly, that's so irresponsible.

nah, meow was shifty. After the fifth or sixth attempt, he knew to stay away from those places.
