View Full Version : a feature that'd be nice to be added to the freewebspace search

A field like "instant account activation".

Sometimes some of us are really in need of space quickly that we can't wait for one or two days for approval or something. However that's what many new hosts do. It'd be good if there is a field like "instant activate?" yes/no, or "time to activate" and different variables for it like "instant", "few days", etc. (so Geocities, Tripod and the like would be "instant", while vr9.com and the like would be "few days")

Yeah, I hate it when I need to show a friend a graphic or a picture or a music clip and then I need to signup for an account and then I realize that I don't get it instantly and have to sign up for a different one. Good idea, Agum.

I think MySQL would be a nice add-on too. I've noticed in searches, that sometimes when you pick ad-free, the results produce hosts which aren't even listed as ad-free.

Thanks for your suggestions. Mysql and Instant activation are good suggestions.

As for the problem with searching for No ads mentioned by NC_TOM, it has been fixed about 3 weeks ago. I don't think there's any problem with that anymore.

ME have a suggestion.

It will be great if user can enter a value (the amount) of web space instead of choosing the given web space on the drop down menu to search.

Because some users may want to search over 100MB... but in the drop down menu, the highest one is only 20MB, so there will be more results. Then the user will have to spend extra time on looking for the 100MB hosts + including the 20MB-100MB hosts..

sorry for my bad explaination, but I hope you understand.
