Need much Space... unlimited would be nice but 250mb+ would be enough, too. Banners are ok :D and they dont need to support anything (only zips). They must have a direct download possibility like tripod etc.

i'm not sure exactly what direct download is, but i know that mektek.net offers unlimited space - you tell them how much you need when you sign up.

The file size is not very important because i can split it with winace. direct download is that you can dl it directly (tripod etc) and not like idrive with login etc

a direct download is a file hosted on anything but free disk space providers (i.e. idrive), right?

Oh, I know all about warez... not that I've ever downloaded things such as Quake, Dreamweaver, Power DVD, etc....
Warez is illegal software on the internet. The term is like an umbrella that covers everything-
gamez=games
appz=applications
moviez=movies
Full versions of everything.
Site with serial numbers are also considered warez, as are sites with cracks.
I myself prefer cracks and serial numbers, because of their small size.
Warez sites store their stuff in free webspace accounts, and then link to the files from one main site.
Now the real serious stuff is on ftps. Going to warez sites theres lots of banners, mainly porn.
Since most programs and way to big to fit in one account, they are split with winace... like you have a .rar file, then a .c00, then a .c01, and so on.
Each of these files are small, I believe the warez standard is 2.88 mb per file.
So they create lots of accounts and upload lots of files and directly link to them, which is why free space providers have file size limits, restricted file types, etc.

But i dont want to make a Warez Site. I want an account as file storage with no login for users.

okay, so you make a little html file that links all your files on that free webp rovider. Ive tried that, and some didnt care until tehy started getting traffic.
Tripod shuts you down.
Prohosting shuts you down.
Fortunecity is useless you cant even link to your files from your own account without getting a "Denial" page
The only ones that I can remember that didnt were
TheGlobe and DigitalRice, until the site got alot of hits, then those were gone too.
good luck
