i think its the only really cool avatar i have come up with. It is the 5th letter of the alphabet, or the infamous wheelchair guy. whichever.

Nice colours! It must be a surfer-dude wheelchair (or something).
edit: can aviator and avatar be used to mean the same thing? I always thought the first one was a pair of sunglasses, similar to the ones worn by airmen, or aviators as they are commonly known. What does avatar mean though? (in everyday english that is) or is it a word just invented for those pictures?

I believe aviator was first incorrectly used by Supermoo, and then people started using it for some reason.

Although now I'm spelling them the correct way 'avatar', although it still dosen't sound right... 'Aviator' suits it much better! ;)

I don't know why it's just not called an icon... That's basically what they are.

Avatar sounds longer... And therefore is bigger than an icon.

Because most people think of icons as tiny little gifs. At least I do. ;)
