Desperatly Need Webspace

Hey all ...
Im desperatly need some webspace with the below specs:

space: doesn't matter
upload: FTP
programming: CGI / SSI
banner: not fussy.

the problem is i need a server that allows the

or the
<!-- #virtual cgi="somecgifile.cgi?HELLO" -->

commands .. this is a must. I have founda few sites such as:
www.hobbiton.org, etc. that do, but i can't get them to work
or the turned it off ...

any help is appricated !

Netfirms doens't offer this.
Look under there support and SSI page at the bottom they say we don't support EXEC command! :(

Hypermart / virtualavenue are the same site. and why would i give them my visa info. im im getting free webspace ??

1) Try Lexton.net
2) They need your visa info because they will charge you for extra bandwidth usage (past the limit of 500 MB/mo)

Try the virtual command. I used it for a newspro a couple weeks back and it worked :).

What was the exect #virtual command you used.

Im trying to use a #vurtual cgi ="somecgifile.cgi?HELLO"

note: IM PASSING A PARARETER to it .. HELLO

did you do this becasue I can't get the above to work on netfirms?

Try that. I didn't use it with the query string, but it should work :D.

Did you rename your files to .shtml? Maybe that's it? If that doesn't work, http://free.prohosting.com/ is good if you can put up with banner & no sendmail.
