I need a fast Server for my news scripts. Php/Mysql and not a too silly ad.

You wont find a FAST server with that. Freedom2Surf.com is your best bet, but they are a bit slow :(.

Actually, my f2s account is fast cause it can be found on Sever0007 :D.

There are certainly many cgi-based news-scripts, so is there a fast cgi-host?

they are on cable. maybe they put their server in a cardboard-box-ATX case? :D

Damn thanks for pointing out that they are somewhat related to that crappy dead host. I was about to join badpenguin.net because I thought it was pretty fast. Not bad for a Road Runner cable conenction.

er.... stupid newbie question: what's sever0007 (i take it you mean server, but do they have a list of servers with diffferent speeds?)

Yes, I meant server :o. The earlier you signed up for F2S the lower the server number, and since most sites on server7 are old and dead it is blazin' :D. The older the server the faster.

I'm on server 26, some people say it's the best, but lately it has been really slow.

News Pro - http://www.amphibianweb.com/newspro/ is the most popular. But I use a PHP news script (http://www.nphp.net/) that I modified.
