lifelesspeople.com has been down for 8 hours, and has made 6 of my websites offline for the same amount of time.

1. They warned me for using 'omg' instead of 'oh my god' yesterday.
2. The admin loves using sarcasm in his PMs - Below is the quote of the whole message.
3. All the members flamed me with nasty comments.

I have been a member for 9 1/2 months, and i am constantly treated like a nobody. Whenever i try and complain, the mods delete or close my thread before anyone replys, it infrines in my freedom to speak. It also makes me free ignored.

I am so fed up with this host, and yesterday there were a ton of complaints because the admin upgraded to mySQL 5.0.12, and then downgraded it back to 4.4.x without telling any of the members before he did any of thise, and half of the members upgraded thier SQL for your web apps (phpBB e.t.c), because mySQL 5 uses more stricter queries.

Please, please please do not try this host, it is a waste of time, they reject all new accounts, no reason given.

Usually when there are 3 warnings within 90
days you are banned for 30 days.

Since you are so active and I'm such a nice guy. (Agree or
else.. Twisted Evil ) I'm going to make it 4 warnings
within 90 days just for you.

If you get 1 more warning you will force my hand and you
will be out for a full 30 days without any option for a
shorter ban time.

Being warned for using 'omg instead of 'oh my god'...

What 2 friends said;

slimboyfat: yep

slimboyfat: interesting..... and madness - it must be some

themoose™: lol yeah

slimboyfat: of course.... but nothing silly about
shorthand!!

Cpanel is now working, but i am still banned, and so are at least 2 other members for no apparent reason. It looks they suspect us to the cause of the server crash, but why would i do it, after all, i got annoying and fustraited when it went down. And i was no annoyed that i created this post.

Just a theory, but it is going very annoying, even the admin banned some scripts such as ikonboard and YaBB.

Well there are some free hosting who knows what they are doing and can manage to keep the server up and happy. Other free host goes beyond their limit, eventhough their servers can support millions of users, but the support people cannot. I suggest to go to a Free Hosting with an Admin & Staff, who knows what they are doing. :)

Clearly lifelesspeople.com is a scam.

1) Internet Shorthands aren't allowed by llp's its rules
2) Posting a PM off an admin on his own board isn't smart.
Especialy about this subject, and realy. you did get more chances then other members. So STFU.
3)Your posts were immature. Even a 6 year old kid could write up more contentfull forum posts.

Webhosting is a previllege, not a right.
So don't expect democratic rights, the admin his/here decision is unstopable.

Because of members like you complaining about scripts not working he downgraded the version again. Now several databases are corrupted because of your whining.

And i think its better that the server is offline for upgrading then because its hacked. Reject all new acounts, thats a fun one btw.
Everybody that reaches the amount of points / month with non spam posts gets an acount for sure.

THE ADMIN WARNED YOU THAT IF YOU WOULD BREAK ANOTHER RULE YOU WOULD GET A 30DAY BAN!!!
AND THE RULES TO MENTION THAT YOU SHOULDNT TALK ABOUT MODERATORS OR ADMINISTRATORS IN PUBLIC BUT ONLY BY PM OR OUTSIDE OF LLP!!!

So every point of your posts has been broken, now what?

As the owner of the service mentioned I feel I should at least reply to this thread to set the record straight.

Let me go over the points and try to give our side of things. :)

lifelesspeople.com has been down for 8 hours, and has made 6 of my websites offline for the same amount of time.

The main website (lifelesspeople.com) and client websites located on Aesir were down for 8 hours due to the server being overloaded by a rogue script. It was rebooted multiple times during the day and was finally fixed after extensive research. Your websites were down but, so was ours. :)

1. They warned me for using 'omg' instead of 'oh my god' yesterday.

Many forums have different rules and those rules will vary from forum to forum. At Lifelesspeople.com we do not want internet shorthand used on our forum so we have posted a rule against it. We make the rules easy to find and I believe easy to understand. As a member for 9 and 1/2 months (time provided by your post above) you should be well aware of the rules. :)

2. The admin loves using sarcasm in his PMs - Below is the quote of the whole message.

The message you have posted here and had posted on Lifelesspeople.com before I removed it was meant in jest but, I do admit to being sarcastic. Even though the rules clearly state that 2 or more warnings will result in a 30 day "cooling off period" or ban. I offered you 4 just because I believed what you had posted was a mistake. (Referencing the 'omg' vs 'oh my god' warning.) In response to that you brought a private message into a public post and now post this on Freewebspace.net.

3. All the members flamed me with nasty comments.

We obviously cannot control what members of the community do outside of Lifelesspeople.com. If any members flamed you via the forum or on the forum itself the recommended course of action would be to send a ticket in to Abuse Reports. This behavior is clearly against the rules and happens to be the first rule in the list of rules.

I have been a member for 9 1/2 months, and i am constantly treated like a nobody. Whenever i try and complain, the mods delete or close my thread before anyone replys, it infrines in my freedom to speak. It also makes me free ignored.

There might have been times when one of the moderators might have treated your post with biased opinions or arbitrarily closed them when they shouldn't. Unfortunately human beings are emotional creatures and do not always react in the correct way. In situations such as this the situation should be brought to my attention for me to handle.

As per our old operational policy newer versions of software were implemented when brought to the stable release for use due to improvements in the software. In this case this operational policy caused some scripts to go down. After getting complaints from some clients the decision was made to roll back to MySQL 4.1.x from MySQL 5.0.x.

The following operational policy changes were made and are slowly being implemented:

1) Major upgrades are scheduled at least 5 days in advance to allow for backups and proper notification of site visitors. (Example: The upgrade to MySQL 5.0.)

2) Minor upgrades are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance depending on the situation. (Example: Upgrade of the phpBB forum or a change in the spam filtering system.)

3) Announcements to a mailing list group at Google for better flow of information about downtimes as they occur. (Implemented.)

Please, please please do not try this host, it is a waste of time, they reject all new accounts, no reason given.

Our system allows for application for hosting account activation when all requirements have been met. Unfortunately these must be audited to ensure our service does not become a haven for spam or other illegal activity. Occasionally it has been necessary to clear the activation queue by denying all pending hosting account activation requests. Anyone applying is instructed to check all information and wait 24 hours before sending in their application again.

Everyone that meets our requirements and follows our rules will receive a webhosting account. All hosting account activation requests will be answered and activated. We do not promise anything we do not deliever.

You are clearly entitled to your opinion and I respect that. It still doesn't change the situation you put yourself into.

Clearly lifelesspeople.com is a scam.

I won't even justify this with a response.

Although I think a server admin should email all members if they will be making huge upgrades, I believe your host is right.

And giving you more warnings must mean they don't think of you as a "nobody" as you said. If you are getting warnings for using internet shorthands, then stop doing it. It is a rule, a rule made for you to follow. They are providing a service to you for free, the least you could do is abide by those rules.

If the server goes down or too long of a period, don't go whining about it on some other forum, instead, try to contact the administrator through IM, email, or some other means. If they ignore you, then it may be fine to warn others to not try the host, but I still wouldn't, because they may be ignoring you so that they can do maintenence on the server that is down.

I have also had problems with my host. But I am not making threads complaining about it, instead, I emailed them, got no reply, sent IM's, then tried sending an email to their complaint inbox. It has been 4 days now, and since I didn't complain or get overly mad, but handled it in a mature way, my host has apologized, and has said without my emails, they would have not known about the server (because they have so many to maintenence) and have agreed to increase my space and bandwidth.

See, whining gets you no where.

I don't know anything about Lifeless People or whatever the host is called
but everyone should be aware that there is possiblity that they could have
actually been online the entire duration of this thread without any problems
and everyone just think that they were down when the were not!

See my post in another thread for more information on what I'm talking about ...
http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showpost.php?p=623401&postcount=12

Then again, they might have just coincidentally been down at the same
time as the problems happening on the rest of the internet ....

Trel, why has my account been suspended. I have no illegal or anything, i have not placed up any banned scripts.

If you can unsuspend my account for 1 day, i will move hosts, i am not being rude, but i am utterly sick of this. I had paying clients yesterday who paid for advertising, and this just makes me look like an idiot.

First you warned for using 'omg'
Second the server went down and i was wondering what was going on
Third i was banned from the forums for no reason
Finally, you suspended my account for no reason

I am moving hosts, being suspended for no reason just made me outraged. I am very very upset and annoyed.

LP-Trel, thanks for replying to my thread, sorry that things did not work very well, i have e-mailed you back, and i will require a full backup and i will move hosts, so you no longer need to worry about this certain member. I am sorry that this has happened in such a dramatic way. I do NOT take back any comments that i have made in this thread though, that would be against my personal will.

Your own fault actualy.
We tried to threat you as a normal member the first month.
Then we tried to explain why nobody realy liked you that mutch.
Then we asked you to stop the behaviour.
Then we tried to be friendly to you again.

But no, you kept on doing that way.
Thats why we were unfriendly against you.
And if you don't understand that, bad luck for you.
But spammers are annoying.
So in other words: you are annoying.

They do not spam, that is something that i know is lie.

If it was my fault, Anonymus user, then i would have told by now. I feel that this is not my fault which is why i started the thread in the first place. I would not start a thread about this if i already knew i was in the wrong, which i know i am not. Anyway, it is probably LP-Ilthion or SolidRaven.

Wrong again, you realy need to redefine your guessing skills!!!

Summary of features included in robert allen:
1) ultimate spam engine
2) Very bad grammar eventough english is his primary language
3) make 5 crap websites / month
4) bad guessing mechanism

now available for $0,99 take it or leave it.

robert allen

Excuse me?

1. I DO NOT spam.
2. My grammer is bad because i am dyslexic
3. I do make about 5 websites a month, but they are not crap
4. That just does not make sense

I am not for sale, and there are many people who are worst grammer than me, and english is there primary language, they are just not as active as me, and mods do not pick up on every little mistake.

Anonymous.User

1) Your posts look quite a bit like spam, they make no sense and you say the same things several times.
2) I know several people who have that. And believe me, they sometimes speak better then people who don't have it.
3) They are crap, if they aren't crap then explain me one thing. Why are you the only active poster on the forum of your own websites.
4) If you would be smart you would know who this is, but you aren't so you don't actualy know. So you aren't good at finding out who this is.

And your grammer is realy bad, ask it to other llp members.
And you can't even spell the name of a program right without making a mistake.
And not as active as you :| , Their are several realy active members. But we just can't notice it because your spam posts take up the first 50 places on the new posts search feature.

I have only ever managed to post 50 posts in 24 hours on 3 or 4 times in 8 months. I have seen more lies and unjustly comments in that post than i have ever had to put up with in my life. Just face it, i haveleft llp, which is what you want, so quit complaining already.

Lets see.

1. When i post (not spam), you critise the content.
2. When i start being active everyone stops posting, and there is no way past the deadlock.
3. If you think i spam, then you think i spam, if i do spam, according to your opinion, then i spam, but you must believe that i do not do it deliberatly
4. Yet again, can you please stop this SolidRaven and LP-Ilition, i know it is you.

2) Nobody likes you anymore, so we all run away from you.
3) 95% of the people that saw your posts find it spam like stuff.
4) I'm not SolidRaven and i'm not LP-Ithilion
