View Full Version : Why does CuteFTP always timeout so quickly????

It frickin' sucks...I get disconnected after 60 idle seconds....most of the time during these idle seconds I'm editing a file locally. It's so annoying. If it helps, I'm on a 28.8 modem and working on F2S.

That is the server problem... not related to your FTP program

that's right. the admin (the user on the server who can control his/her FTP settings) sets the settings for the timeout.
