I signed up last week with netcabins and am still waiting on them......so in the meantime could someone please give me some active url's from netcabins to wet my appetite......All the addy's that appear at their forums re-direct me to their home page or forbid access....
I can't work it out......

In their FAQ it says you must place a banner on your pages...

Netcabin's Ad policy....
Is there anything required to be put on my free web site?
Yes. In order to keep the service free, you must put a standard (468*60) unobtrusive banner ad somewhere on each page of your site. Banners can be removed for a fee.

Also....
They have a programmer who's snowed under.. fully automating the place.........which will take one to two weeks..............ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Cheers

http://kid.netcabins.com/

I pasted ad banner st the bottom of my page.
I picked up it from netcabin's main page.
I know it's not requierd yet, but Tom needs more money to keep best quality of FWP.

Sphankta has a point. When looking at a fwp I would like to see an actual site so as to get an idea of what the ads look like, what kind of sites the fwp attracts (and yes, that does matter).

What exactly is so good about Netcabins. I tried them and seems like they are the slowest FWH I have tried. I know that the owner visits this forum...is it because he is such a friendly person? Everyones suggesting Netcabins but I don't understand why.

This is not a provocation. I just wanted to know if they've just been having problems in the past weeks...or is it always like this?

I believe NetCabins is overhauling their system and their site seems fine and I've now seen a couple of their sites to members and they load alright. Placing a banner is the big plus stated in their promos. So now just waiting for them to process my registration..........lol

Hey. We were slow/unreliable for a few days during this week due to a connection problem with our hosting facility. We were not notified of this and I assume it was related to the fact that we are upgrading from a T1 up to a T3 connection. Where are you located? If you find us slow all of the time, your area might have problems with access to a server based in New York City.

Hello Tom,

It is possible that your sloweness (still quite slow) for me is because of my location. I'm getting about three times faster downloads from my other US sites. I live on the other side of the Atlantic but most of the time US free servers are faster than European (how is that possible?). Don't get me wrong, your speed seems to be fine now but still the 'other hosts' are over three times faster. This must be a locational issue.

Thanks. Your readiness for support really outperforms 'the others'.
