Need a litte help

I was wanting to know if it would be better to get a Dedicated Server or buy a server.For personel use.What is your thoughts?

buy a server, then colo it in a datacenter? usually renting server is cheaper. But if you want to own your hardware, you need to buy server

It will be much more expensive colo'ing one. Rent a server from an established provider.

If u buy a server urself it will initially cost u around 2 k to 4 k for a good one that is or u can always buy cheaper one. than if u colocate it depending on ur bw requirements u pay either 60 to 120$ per month.

If get dedicated u atleast pay 110$ for p4 pm , but advantage of colocation is that its ur hardware and u can put 250gb hdd or more or whatever u like and make it as powerful as u like and still pay 120$ pm or less whereas for dedicated you pay around 300$ or more for a dual xeon or some bigger beast.

Colocation is best if u willing to initially put good money into it , than the montly charges are less than dedicated.
