Sorry...I just tried them out, and they are so slooooooooooow for me. Anyone know of another host like them that's faster?

I heard they have a lot of downtime and that their features won't work very well:rolleyes:

I had an account with marhost. They claim to allow cgi/perl. I logged in via FTP and it said "Platform: UNIX (Standard)". I uploaded a cgi script into my CGI-BIN, attempted to CHMOD it, and it said "CHMOD Not supported by remote host". MarHost.com is STUPID. Go with f2s.com or hypermart.net instead

Oh c'mon! Unlimited space and bandwidth, CGI access and no ads... this has to ring a bell that this will never work out! I'd trust Gizba before this host

My god! It's so slooooooow. Im on cable and it took 30 seconds just to load the main page. You see, most webhosts use another seperate server just for their own homepage. But not this one :( its slow

Their speed was ok for considering I was 56k. I could create folders but I wasn't able to access them. And they say they support asp, I had about 5 asp scripts and none of them worked and I looked over the code over and over again. I agree with you guys, marhost sucks!
