Just open them with notepad, they are ASCII.

True, then you would have to install PHP and Apache in order to run the php files. You can get php at http://www.php.net and Apache at http://www.apache.org

A real good resource is http://www.webreview.com/pub/2000/09/29/feature/index02.html (koolguy gave me this link since i just installed perl,php,and apache on my system)
