A friend just told me that you can host your sites from Yahoo! Briefcases. I didn't try it out myself to see if it works but with no ads, it might not be a bad idea.

I haven't figured how to use Yahoo's briefcase for hosting a website. Either their directory system is screwed up or there are some ways I haven't figured out. Anybody can help?

It is not really a good way to host a web site, but I guess you could. It is more of a place to just hold your files.

Your friend might have stumpled opon Yahoo! Geocities free web hosting service and he thought it was yahoo's breifcase service. They are not the same.
