I'm trying to find out how many web hosts actually read these forums.

I posted a message in the General Ads & Offers forum, looking for hosting in exchange for some design work done, and was wondering am I posting to nobody. :o

Speaking from my own standpoint, we not only supply hosting but design web sites ourselves. We have some of the best designers in the industry working with us. So we can't really use your services at all. Some other reasons you may not be getting responces are:

1. You did not provide any links to sites you have done so we can't see your work.

2. If you are able to design sites that would be of the quality that web hosters need. Than would you not be able to sell these designs? Therefor making a profit and being able to pay for hosting?

So with the above said, I think the answer to your question, "...and was wondering am I posting to nobody.", is yes.

Heh thanks for replying, I've found what I need btw.

As for design.. that'll be a trouble because I don't currently own a web site =) Well actually I have my personal one up but I guess I'd better not show it when talking business, heh.

Okay I should stop before this post/thread gets off-topic.

We have a design contest.

We are looking for someone to design a new template for our site inexchange for as many numbers of years of free hosting as we use the design.

Err..confusing. What I mean is if we use your design for 4 years, you get 4 years of hosting for free!
