phpBB help please

I need a pre-modded version of phpBB with just the simple mods. I already know about the pre-modded version with TONS of mads, but I need one with just the simple mods. If you know where I can get one, please reply! Also, anyone know how I can put my ads in the standard places on a phpBB forum?

Most mods are relativly easy to install. Most pre-modded versions of phpBB will come with tons and tons of mods, which you don't want. Installing them yourself is better.

Well, how do I insert my ads in all of the pages? Forget about the mods.

Open overall_header.tpl and overall_footer.tpl (I think those are the files. I haven't worked with phpBB for a while) and insert your ads into the HTML that is there.
