View Full Version : Looking for a Simple Web Design

Hi everyone, I'm looking for someone to design a simple, yet sleek, design for one of my sites.

In more detail:
- Simple white design
- Seperated into three parts: top banner area, left strip (separated into two boxes; one for site navigation, the other for sponsors and such), and main content area
- No images of people on it (that's one of my pet peaves)
- Minimum amount of images for quick loading
- Looks sleek and professional

I'm getting tired (yes, tired) of the current design on this site of mine. I'd design another myself, but I always tend to have problems making white-colored designs (to the point where I'm throwing my computer out of my window and smashing it to bits with a sledgehammer)... or basically any other color designs (I can code pretty well when I need to do so, but making the basic design itself always leads to insanity on my part).

If anyone here is a designer, I'd appreciate any price estimates posted in this thread, or any others via PM. If you need clarification of any details, please feel free to ask me.

Thank you! :-)

Just a quote would be fine. I don't have a specific budget at the moment.

Thank you, but no. I'd like an original design. If I wanted a modified design, I would've modified one myself; I'm good with HTML (I'm just not too good with making original designs), so I don't need someone to modify something to make it "easy to edit," or anything of the like (this isn't meant to sound harsh or anything).

I could probably do one for you, cheaply. PM me if you are interested. There are a couple of examples of my work in the links in my sig.

i could do it for around 25-40, depending on everything you want. the stuff that you listed would probably around 30.

So my estimate is 30. some of my work is in my sig (imagehut and t0pher.com are both my designs) and many more are available upon request. i could get my crew together to do a high end one for you that would probably cost around 75 or so. pm me if interested.

@bored: Don't just go with the cheapest. Make sure these people have good portfolios and have done work in/around the same type of site you want to build.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing; I'm making sure that these people can actually design. Thanks for the heads up, though. :-)

Oh, sorry, I should've been more specific about that. :P
I'd just like the coded page. I don't need a psd file or anything; I'd just like the actual coded & designed page itself. A psd file would be of no use to me.

@Everyone else who's interested: PM me with some samples of your work (and a price range, if you haven't mentioned it yet).

Thank you. :-)

@justagaguhl: A hosting site.
