Is it a good idea to use an EZBoard on your website or should you use your own board?

Pros - EZBoard has global community to attract more members, saves webspace

Cons - "Members" are not technically your members and you can't get membership info, do not have much control over board, and basically all the downsides of anything that is remotely hosted.

(If this is the wrong forum please move it, I didn't know where to put it)

Personally speaking I prefer installing my own board. If you have server space/resources and know how to install a board and run it I think you should go for your own board.

If you want one in ASP try http://forum.snitz.com/
Personally I hate ASP but am forced to use on a domain I run for our school's FIRST Robotics Team.
Just watchout, today (July, 24) their site doens't seem to be working that well try tomorrow.
