Domain Setup !!!

:confused4 I have registered a domain (whgs.be) and also registered a free hosting account with cpanel at hostneo.com. Thay gave me name servers

ns1.hostneo.com
ns2.hostneo.com

I added that in the nameserver area
I dont know what to do next
I tried to open whgs.be/cpanel but nothing happened. Plz any one help me

well, it usually takes 24 - 48 hours from the time you changed your nameservers before the domain actually takes effect. But for my case, it usually takes less than half a day. But I guess you have to be patient then.

I found your error while checking the DNS of your domain, you got to check with your service provider regarding this issue:

Answer from AMSTERDAM.NS.DNS.be: domain 'whgs.be' not found

Try looking for a few threads back down here, there are quite a few other be domain registrars.

I have registered and modified the dsn it is showing the same error

I have just check the dns of hostneo and everything seems to be alright:

DNS server ns1.hostneo.com[72.36.136.178] is alive and authoritative for domain hostneo.com
DNS server ns2.hostneo.com[72.36.136.179] is alive and authoritative for domain hostneo.com

I think your next best option is to go register a new .be from another provider, and see if the problem arises again.

Hey ace, guess what, you didn't even register your whgs.be domain cause I just registered it. I have changed the nameservers for that domain towards hostneo's nameservers and you should be able to login to your cPanel pretty soon.

But :( I registered it from registerfly.com and it showed that it is mine and is registered by me i think that site is bad!!!!

I have double checked the dns and somehow the dns points back to tradebe's dns. I have changed it again to hostneo's nameservers and also changed pakeez.be's nameservers towards another host. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

I don't think you registered through reigterfly at all, cause if you look at whgs.be on the browser, you will see "Welcome to the placeholder of whgs.be" which is the placeholder that tradebe puts for inactive .be domains.

Ive Registered em but the dsn dosnt change man ive added aabout 4 to 5 free hosting dsns but the domain dosnt work

did u registered at registerfly? i'd rather register it at freebe. try it. i have regitered some domains and it's all working now.

Alright, I have solved your problem, go try logging in to your cpanel at http://whgs.be:2082/ using whatever username and password that was given to you by Hostneo. It should work perfectly fine now :p .
