Hey!,

I was thinking about buying into a virtual hosting package in contrast to the Free hosts I currently use. As I live in the UK, it is better to have a UK based company (and preferably one who accept SOLO card as a form of payment).
Does anyone know of any that are worthwhile to look into? I would most likely want to spend no more than £16 per month (bit of a tight webmaster ;) ) with the following spec if possible;

At least 100 MB Space
- Minimum 6GB Bandwidth
- ASP (Active server pages) support including mail componet(s) such as JMail, CDONTS etc
- PHP4 Support
- Perl 5 Support and Sendmail function
- Domain registration
- DNS/MX Records access - (to incorportate a Web-based email system)
- FTP access
- Subdomains (minimum 5)
- mySQL (at least 5 preferably)
- MS Access Database support

phew! long list :D . Any help with this is much appreciated.

Thanks again

Blu :rolleyes:

Bandwidth is a scarce commodity in the UK and if you really need six gigs you will find few services that can do what you need. AIUI, the two above offer 5 and 3 respectively.

A US based host is not really a problem (unless you cannot use visa). After all, if you are running your site after work, or after shcool, they are in the office to answer the phone when you are working on your site.
