with your stats, I believe you need a P4 box at least, and in that case, you can consider a cheap dedicated server at $100/month. Someone can sell you 600GB transfer at $25/month can be OFF soon or having terrible uptime

I'm 17 and I have 3 servers OF MY OWN and paid out over $2700 since beginning of august. If there is a 17 year old "kid" running a hosting company you'd say no straight away. If there is a responsible mature 17 year old young adult the answer should differ!

And the offer was ridiculous because that plan without overselling is ridiculous

He wasn't talking about you. He was making the point abut some ridiculous offers.

You need a dedicated server to run that kind site. I recommend you up your budget because no shared hosting SHOULD accept you for that

As no of users have increased from 4000 to 8100 similarly you should increase your budget to choose a reliable host with true support & good uptime.
