How do I sign up for the "free" package on Hypermart.net, it keeps asking me for a credit card and wont let me proceed!?
Why do they need a credit card of rthe FREE package?

because if you pass 500 MB data transfer a month, you pay for extra transfer usage.

They used to allow signups without a credit card, is there a way to still do it? they have all the features I need:

They've got terrible ads anyway. Huge pop-ups and banners.

They probably verify the number as active and good before they activate the account. You'd think so, anyway.

I would recommend you http://virtualave.net
,but they have pop up ads even if you pay the domain hosting with them. Pay extra $8.00 to remove banners.

Use portland.co.uk. But they sometimes fail with the ftp and domain.

They are the same thing as HyperMart and also require a CC. And they don't have PHP which is what he asked for.
