What do you think is the best content management system for an anime site? like php nuke or xoops or something.

A custom one is always best. Open-source CMS systems can be good, or they can be horrible. I've seen both sides.

true. opensource works fine but code structure might not be that good. (ie: spaghetti style) but there may be exeptions.

IMO e107 and typo3 are the powerful and nice features CMS available. Drupal is also one that is good for animation and multimedia site. :classic2:

The main problem that I have with huge CMS systems is that the code they use is extremely hard to edit. No comments are included, and there is a massive amount of files.

Joomla and e107 are buggy, as for typo3, i could not ever access the admin area.

I recommend;
dragonfly
phpBB
wordpress

The rest are crap in my opinion.
