Ususally when you press TAB, it skips to the next box/item

but when you actually hold SHIFT and press TAB, it goes backwards!!!

So it does, you learn something new everyday. :)

It's an old discovery, hehe. But congrats anyways, if you want to know a good way of skipping words quickly using arrow keys, or deleting words using arrow keys, hold control hit left or right to skip words, and control and backspace deletes the word

I think most people don't know this. A friend of mine pointed it out to me about a year ago, best discovery of my life to date...

Doesn't work in firefox on linux. You racists. (Woj's original discovery, I mean.)
(edit)
Hmm, works in the address bar/search bar. Never mind.

Oh for real! I was so amazed, I probably took about ten screenshots of things for no good reason.

And that was last week! :devious2:

People really don't need any reason at all to post in the GD anymore, do they.

What other forum would you put this thread in?

I'm just saying there's all these pointless threads these days, is that what this forum has turned to, a bunch of nonsense, and some desperate hosts who want cleints.

The GD forum is for nonsense like this. Hosting and such goes in the other forums.

I don't remember the GD being filled with so much nonsense, but you're right, this is what it's here for. It just seems like it would be more at home in a "Chatterbox" thread.

No one's forcing you to read it. I'd much rather read about Woj's big discovery over all the crap that happens in every other forum in here. These so called pointless posts basically revolve around some of the smaller elements of everyone's lives, which is why they're more interesting.

Does everyone know about CTRL+ARROW, SHIFT+ARROW, CTRL+SHIFT+ARROW, SHIFT+PGUP, SHIFT+PGDN, etc etc. Because I didn't. (Try it with some text, like in your reply box...)

Makes document editing much easier, no need for a mouse.

Woj, you have a lot of time that could be better spent on my site :P

On some computers, pushing Ctrl + Alt + any arrow key does some funny stuff.

Hey, I can make an overview still! I see a cheap man holding a sweater, trying to get away with something.
