problem during upload of hundreds of files.

Hi

I have already a few web hostings. On some of them when I try to upload hundreds of file I get discounnected during the upload. Seems that they have problems with more than 300 files or so. When this happens I either have to wait for around 10 minutes or close the connection and reconnect again.

I have tried all the suggestions including increasing delay setting and so and the important thing is that only some of them have this problem so there mustn't be any problem with setting.

And perhaps I should say that the problem is with low cost hostings.

Any suggestion guys?

I would say that it's your FTP client. Make sure that you don't have a max upload speed. It also may be a setting with your router. Make sure that no max outgoing speed is set there either.

This has happened to me also. Please check your FTP client and make sure that you are uploading in "Passive" mode. You also want to make sure that you upgrade your FTP software to the latest to ensure the proper File Transfer techniques are implemented as they help.
