um... i'm not really sure what sever they are on. they run pretty fast for me and i really haven't had problems with them so i assume they are on one of the better severs. if you want the accounts email me (mxpxdork85@yahoo.com) or im me (mxpxdork85). Please don't PM me, i don't really use it.

It's only fast for you not for people who visit your website. So don't get too excited :D.

How does pinging the server tell you that you are on a GOOD server ?
I get very good ping times and I still can't get into my account most of the time. I get connection timeout, connection refused. Yet the ping times are still good.
If I try to access the account at 5 am, then it's reliable.
F2S sucks.
A good free web host is good for everyone not just the lucky few who just happen to find themselves on a good server.

well the longest serving customers get the best performnce , THEY ARE ALL GOOD SERVERS , they just need tweaking and this can take a month sometimes longer but they always come good in the end. Your on Server 45 , it's getting better 100% Uptime nearly yesterday , it DOES IMPROVE and it WILL IMPROVE!

Thats what someone told me eight months ago and it's getting worse not better.
They need a small group of "loyal" users to shut people like me up when we complain.
If there are any dissatisfied f2s users reading this then please speak up - flood the board with complaints. Maybe they'll do something about their crappy service - NOT.

Sorry it doesn't help. You should have seen the situation last summer. The only result was that they closed down their own board.
They aren't bad. It's just that they should inform more and don't promisse things that never happen.

I had an account with F2S like 1 year ago, and then I moved to Xoom or NBCi. I wish I still remembered the user name and password to the account. Oh well. I guess I will have to wait a year for server 45 to speed up.:(

Hey everybody,
I got a whole mess of emails about the accounts and gave them away already. Im glad so many people took interests in the accounts. Please don't email me anymore about them, thanks.
BTW to all the people that say the new servers are slow and won't get better, YOUR WRONG. When i got punkparadise, server 22 (i think), it was slow and not all that reliable, but withing a couple of months it got a lot better and is one of the best servers they have. Give it a couple more months and servers 45 and all the other new ones will become the best ones. They just need to be tweaked a bit.
Later,
Tristan
PS: can somebody tell me how to ping the server?

the irc daemon on IRC servers ping you when you're idle, to see if you're still connected. you may get a message like "PING? PONG!"
