Hi,

Does anybody know of any free webpage chat systems like liveperson? (Must be remotely hosted)

Thanks!

No, but for forum posting I can get you a hosting account on which you can install Crafty Syntax or Help Center Live using Fantastico. Additionally, you can install a support ticket system such as OsTicket. Mention that you're from here and I'll give you 50% off forum posting (half the amount required every month). So, that'd be about 10 forum posts a month. Plus, if you're from the United States we have free domain names. http://www.outhost.org/

I can't name it because I was asking for some ideas as to a script like liveperson. So far all people have told me is how I can host it!

Correct, now if only you gave him the above advice, without trying to score a sale.

If you call getting someone to post in a forum a "sale", then ok. I think I did help him out, I offered to remotely host a live chat solution for free. Plus, I offered him half off.

Some live chat systems are:
http://www.websitealive.com/ - Doesn't allow testing by both ends on a single computer.
http://www.boldchat.com/ - Offers a free and paid version.

Those are pretty good. For more, google something like "free live support chat" or something.
Hope that helped.
