is f2s's server down right now ?? confuse

Hi, I just wondering, is f2s's server down right now ? 'Cuz I can't even open my own website. But when I try to open my friend's website, it's working...grrrr.
Maybe I did something wrong when transfered all the files by FTP ? or ???? no clue at all...
it's working this afternoon, but it's NOT working anymore since 5pm. Anybody ? Do u have any idea ?

your friend is probably on another server. f2s puts their members in different servers depending on when you signed up

Its Midnight Eastern and server45 still appears to be down. Even when its up its ridiculously slow. Does anybody know how long it takes for their servers to begin working properly or am I in for a long wait?

I have an account on server 42 which I started several months ago.

It's crap. Loads of downtime, slow ... useless for hosting anything.

I abandonend it up until recently because someone told me "it'll sort itself out". "give it time", "wait a few weeks ... you'll see".

When I go back and see if things have improved ... I find it's even worse.

I signed up on a new account (on server 45 this time). Within 12 hours of setting up my account the server goes down for 10 hours. Except that it hasn't gone down has it ? If you ping the server to hold the connection open you will eventually get through. The ping return in 250 ms but it still takes forever to open the page. If you don't ping the server then the connection times out.

What do I hear again "it'll sort itself out". "give it time", "wait a few weeks ... you'll see".

They have about 50 servers. I would have thought they could get a new server up and running blindfolded by now. The reason that the server appears to get better over time is because people get fed up and go elsewhere leaving more processor resources for the remaining die hards.

F2S closed their own message board down because they were getting so many complaints it was bad for business. They ignore their e-mails because again they are receiving so many complaints. Their status display is a joke. You'd think they never have any downtime.

Knowing that other people running on another server, which I cannot get access to, are having a glorious time doesn't impress me.
