Hi!
I'm thinking of starting a free e-mail site, ok I know it's done before...
In order to start the site a need some money - about $600.
Do you think it is possible to get advertisers/sponsors before the site is on the net?
I have seen one site _very_ similiar to this and they have 15000 users - but I have a better domain(dotcom), and isn't it domain that people want easy to remember?

To be Frank, you have basically no chance of attracting the attention of the leading ad reps prior to launch. You may be able to gain support from a smaller CPC or CPA network, but even those are presently becoming increasingly selective in which sites they choose to represent.

Free email and similar community-based sites are, whether rightfully or not, also frowned upon by many ad reps these days, so even after launch you'll have to do some real smooth talking to gain decent representation.
