Slightly off topic but has anyone used/ promoted Studio Traffic?

It seems as though it could pay a lot of money after a lot of use.
I am a little reluctant to throw money down a hole though

Yes they do...i was a member...But not active any more....Just register and check out the forums where they have a listing of Payouts...

Studiotraffic is an advertising program that allows it's members to actually participate. You make money by watching the advertisements in a surf rotation, and make a commission from doing so. Advertisers get benefit as their adds are shown to lacs of members and members are paid for watching the adds. You can also make money if you tell others about it, and they sign up, using your referral link.
