i use CD-RWs often...has anyone used abCD 1.5 before? it's giving me a bunch of BS problems, like it wont read CDs that have been formatted under a previous installation of abCD 1.5 :mad:. Some of my work was on there and I don't have an extra copy of it :mad:

I don't really need to use CD's more than once... So I'm going with CD-R, since they are so inexpensive and the CD's work on almost any computer.

I like and user cd-rs, but there is something else tha Iomega makes that holds 3gigs or something. it sounds sort of cool

I think that cdRs are the bast though. next to floppies it is the most convient way to transfer data from one computer to another

Anybody here use 5.25" Floppies?Yes. Not those fancy high-density ones, just the plain ol' single sided/single density. Obviously, I don't use them for modern uses, but I do use them to save old TRS-80 software that I've downloaded so that I can use it on my real TRS-80 instead of some crappy emulator. But yes, I do regularly use 5¼ inch floppies.

For modern stuff, what I can't do by LAN I do by disk (3½), what I can't do by disk I do by CD-R.

Been using d-r for a couple months. I think if I had to make one more spanned-floppy zip archive it would drive me insane!

I can see you would have problems handling those small floppies. :)

What about band stations? I can get lay my hands on an older one. I've heard something bad about them but I don't remember what.
