to the following:
NS.CLUBHOSTCITY.COM
NS2.CLUBHOSTCITY.COM
Unfortunatly your application does not qualify for
INSTANT ACTIVATION and will be processed by a network

The reason your application was disqualified was because:

Wrong! Hosting signups are indeed online and working!
Clubhost City verifies all web hosting applications utilizing
advanced technology that far surpasses the capabilities
of most governments and intelligence agencies.
The message you just quoted is only shown if your application
was rejected with a LEVEL 5 failure code which would most
likely mean that either you were identified as a known spammer
in a public blacklist database somewhere on the planet (OR) you
don't meet the minimum age requirements to be able to apply
for a web hosting account at Clubhost City.
LEVEL 1 to 4 failure codes will result in a detailed message being
shown telling you precisely what is wrong with your application
while LEVEL 5 only tells you to contact our support department.
EDIT: If you want to know specifically why you were rejected,
you willl need to contact support@clubhostcity.com
Blade1941 January 10th, 2006, 17:48 ABSOLUTELY WRONG! Hosting signups are indeed ONLINE!
Amz, please calm down and breath, there is no reason for using caps and shouting at people.
On other words this hosting seems to be both good and professional, that you can't use Free email providers to register sucks tho cause Gmail is free ;)
amz January 10th, 2006, 19:01 On other words this hosting seems to be both good and professional, that you can't use Free email providers to register sucks tho cause Gmail is free ;)
This seems to be the day for people making WRONG assumptions ...
Nobody said that you cannot use an email contact from a FREE
mail provider such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, and others, etc!
Submitting an application with a FREE email address simply
disqualifies you from getting immediate instant activation. It
does not block you, in and of itself, from getting a web hosting
account with Clubhost City.
If your application has a GMAIL address (from your example),
your application will be put into a frozen status and an alert
will be sent the network administrator on duty to review the
application which depending on how busy we are at the
moment might take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours to process
your web hosting application.
On the other hand, if you use the email provided to you by
your ISP when signing up and your application also passes
all other checks that are performed, your account will be
activated instantly within a matter of about 30 seconds.
The only difference is the time it takes to process your
web hosting application and nothing more ...

I already explained what that message means in an earlier post!

What a sad site
amz January 10th, 2006, 22:26 Most people cant use it,
What a sad site
Actually most everyone who applies for web hosting is approved
which you should already well know especially given that you already
have an account at Clubhost City and even qualified for instantly
activation when you applied for your account!
However, after that comment I'm very inclined to delete your
web hosting account and ban you from the network just on the
basis of pure stupidity! :biggrin2:
Decker January 10th, 2006, 23:47 Think calm thoughts AMZ ;)
Looks like a load of misunderstanding - and AMZ is correct this is not a support thread for 'clubhost' - no ads, no posting, free accounts. Come on appreciate what your getting for free.

Thanks ...
What is it with everyone this week being allergic to using support? LOL :)
We have 24 hour technical support available at support@clubhostcity.com!
I have signed, but cant use CP,what's wrong with it
You sure that you really want to ask that here?
Ok, fine ... a chance to give everyone a small taste of our capabilities:
Your application was automatically rejected by our hosting signup system
because it detected that you were using a web proxy at 66.225.220.xxx
and also because you lied on your application by claiming that your name
was "James Smith" on the hosting signup form. And on a minor note, you
were also using a FREE email address from a company in Isreal.
Using advanced technology we developed, our signup system automatically
decloaked your IP right through the proxy server and logged your real
IP address of 220.232.116.xxx in Shanghai, China.
Xiong, we might have allowed your application despite the proxy server
had you not also said your name was "James Smith" which shows a
solid pattern of deliberate deception on your part.
Now, if anyone else has account or application specific questions,
I would strongly advise contacting technical support!
andrekb January 12th, 2006, 01:30 AMZ Hello!!
I totally understand your posts and what you are trying to say. I am anxious to apply for hosting with you as I am disabled and being new to webhosting I am limited on funds to go the paid route at this time:)
May Iask you 2 questions(they are not tech supposrt related:) )
1-streaming allowed??
2-how long have you been in business?
Thanks for yor time AMZ and Thank you!
Andre
amz January 12th, 2006, 01:50 1-streaming allowed??
No, not on FREE accounts ...
We do allow various audio, video, and photo multimedia formats
but we do not allow that content to be used for streaming.
2-how long have you been in business?
We just celebrated our 9th year anniversary about 10 days ago!
To answer your question ...
Clubhost City first opened on January 2, 1997

amz January 12th, 2006, 10:46 The signup progarm too clever I did't even signup before then it say what .. One Person One Account!
Actually it is very smart! The following are the main reasons why you
would get a duplicate application warning ...
1. If you currently have a web hosting account with us.
2. If you or someone from your same IP previously sent an application.
The most commn mistake to generate that message is double clicking
your mouse on the submit button when submitting your application.
When you do that, the first click will submit your application and the
second click will register as an attempt to submit a duplicate application.
_JOHN_ January 12th, 2006, 13:18 i also tried to signup on ur site .. it sayz One Person One Account! lol!
my frnd did signed there from his pc .... n v use same ISP ... so does that means ... it blocks the whole ip range ?...if once signed ?
Dream Master January 12th, 2006, 16:02 I did sign up to this service. My needs are not massive, but I am sick and tired of poor hosting forcing our group to move every little bit.
I did have problems with sign up, but they were my fault! After realizing that my account had been frozen I contacted support and they quickly responded and I told them the quick details of my situation.
My situation is hopefully fairly rare, but I had already given up on them allowing me to use their service because of my email and name situation. I was delighted to get a very jovial and fun reply back from them granting me an account.
Even though I have yet to use this service for any length of time yet, I would deffinitely recommend signing up for anyone with a legitemate need for it, inlight of their desire to protect the net from abuse of their systems, I believe this should be a very good service.
kaihao96 January 13th, 2006, 04:45 Clear my ip...Yep is clever :) hahah
