they've been around quite awhile.
You might want to try some of the host directories to see if they have any user reviews, etc.

I dont recall hearing anything negative, etc. and here is a thread at sitepoint.

I wouldn't like to pay that much because I wouldn't feel free to change host and try others. Besides, when I was stupid enough to buy a domain through register club I was also automatically registered with NoMonthlyFees and totally spammed by them. I think I got at least 20 emails in one night. I was scared stiff, because I thought something had gone wrong and they had debited my credit card. Let's say I don't approve of their way of doing business.
I've heard they provide a fair service though.

They're a little tricky. They have the $200 setup fee and claim no monthly fees after that, and technically it's true. They have an annual fee instead, though, which is $70 IIRC. So, not only do they have the huge setup fee, they'll still charge you for continued use after that... just annually instead of monthly.
They have a monthly fee option that's $15.95 per month. That's probably about what their "no montly fees" option works out to with the $200 plus the $70 annual fee.

It seems to me that the business plan has them betting on you moving away sometime in the future. Once you have paid, where is the motivation on them to provide a good ongoing service to you in using their servers?
Oh, I'm sure they want a good word going out on them to attract more accounts (come to think of it, I haven't heard much about them... good or bad).
Think of it, when the new accounts slow down or dry up the business will quickly fall apart.
I'd take a pass.
