I don't use FrontPage, but I am curious what are these FrontPage extensions that need to be activated on webservers if you do use it?
The previous webmaster of a website I now run left them turned on by mistake. I had to go through and delete all the crappy files and directories it made.

FrontPage extensions are files on the server that allow a frontpage user to use frontpage's "components" They allow things like form handleing without uploading seperate CGI scripts, search engines, auto-updating navigational bars, etc. I use frontpage, but tend to avoid the components so I'm not tied to servers that support them. I know I really need to drop frontpage, but I don't really have the paitence to hand code, and/or go through each and every page and clean up the mess frontpage seems to make of the source.
