Hello all. I am looking for a cheap host who can allow legal torrents. I want to make a torrent forum which only will contain legal stuffs like: movies/music sharing. Possibly porn (legal). This is my 1st touch on torrent so I don't really know that much about how much I will have to pay/month or a year. Host Admins please specify all your host details and price plans.

Thanks in advanced.

Oh, don't worry, no offer will be made. That post was really for the benefit of those who do make offers.

Well I wouldnt host him. The only country that im aware of that allows people to host legal bitorrent trackers is Sweeden (aka. The Pirate Bay). Elsewhere such as USA (where the majority of everyones servers are hosted) it is illegal.

Id advise all hosts to exercise caution if you intend on making an offer. It can get very tricky.

If someone is distributing a family video with a torrent then that would be perfectly legal, though I gather this may not be what dsilwal had in mind.

Yeh, I mean comeon, who actually hosts a torrent of a "family" video without any porn in it?

lol no porn included. It isn't family videos which will be uploaded on torrents. It will be like normal bit torrent sites like: http://www.desitorrents.com or http://www.idesir.com

*with no Porn*

Yeh, I mean comeon, who actually hosts a torrent of a "family" videoIt was an example to illustrate the idea. I agree, most people aren't going to be mass circulating their family videos. :-)

Well guys most softwares , game demos , and other pathes and stuff are now been distributed via torrents, so dont be too conservative when u hear the term torrent. Just care to look into what that torrent is all about.

And http://www.desitorrents.com or http://www.idesir.com
are not legal either , just cause no one in bollywood cares about it doesnt mean its legal, its just as illegal as elitetorrents.com was :)

NO one's gonna host you unless you host the site urself... but you'll probably get caught.

wrong, thats the chance if your a user, hosts get monitored via their reseller(if they have one) and them in turn by the data center, the chance of your host getting caught and sued is about 30% i reccon.

Your prob. right about your increased chances of getting caught, but I REALLY doubt your chances of getting enough attention from any major studio or company to sue a small site. There are MUCH bigger fishes to fry. Now don't get me wrong, I do not support illegal hosting of files but just to make it clear.

Trust me my freind i know more bollywood than u know about hollywood and its piracy rules, no one gives the "S" word about hindi/desi movies or even desi porn in usa and no rules regulations exists on dc either for such files/torrents. So as your datacenter if they have even heard of such a thing as bollywood :)
