Due to my greater coolness I'm able to use different DTD's for different projects. Your stupid poll forces me to choose one. I can't vote. Capice? :)

well, you could vote ---- the W3C meaning you violate their rules or you use a different DTD.

Wouldn't dream of ----ing w3c. I'm all for standards. What's so peculiar with using more than one spec?

Now I see said the blind man. You thought I meant I use DTD's that differ from w3c's? No, I mean that I use several. Sometimes transitional and sometimes strict and I sometimes do what you do and violate loose by using a background in a table or something. Soon to be sometimes XHTML1.1. :p

Custom DTD's aren't against the rules BTW. Only it's not my thing.

I was the first to vote that. I do believe in the w3c, but I don't bother with the specs. I code my pages to look right in IE, Netscape and Opera. I'll use whatever code works to make that so, not just what the w3c tells me I should.

I eat my peas with honey
I've done it all my life
It makes the pies taste funny
But it keeps them on the knife

I don't code for any standards I code so that my pages show up correctly in all the major browsers.

like lastaction, I write HTML to look the way I want it too.

If the browsers followed some standards then I might too.
