Any host who provides CPanel will only give you IPB v1.2 at the most.
Latest versino of IPB is 2.1.4 and its not free but near about $85 for a minimal license, otherwise prices go like 185$ and more.

So, anyone who purchases that and provides you will have to be like spending $85 to host you. If you find any such, do let me know. Unless a pirated copy of that, its asking for alot.

Even hosting does not come for free, still few can offer to negotiate resources thru ads or related but asking them to have $85 stuff as well for free , is irrtional. But then miracles do happen and hopefully you can get some host to actually do it for you.

Mikersoft, hes expecting host to provide him $85 or more worth IPB v2.1.4, are you sure you will be able to do that for him ?

For maybe 200 forum posts i can purchase an IPB license for you. legal and everything. PLUS with that 200 forunm posts i'll host you with 1 gb space, 40 gb bandwidth, unlimited mysql and all that good stuff.

sorry bud but it is illegal to obtain it anywhere but from IPS themselves as stated in their license...

we're not allowed to redistribute the files even though they're old versions

You can get IPB v1.2 from scriptslibrary of CPanel if any host with CPanel has that enabled.

Other than that, you just can't ask anyone to provide you files and you have it installed.

Distribution is illegal as per IPS terms, find more about it from their website.

Sounds interesting, lets make a deal then.
I will post 250 (50 more than you want) posts on your forum and you pay me 85$ , thats the license cost of IPB, I don't need any hosting from you, so I save you that much resources as well and also give you 50 posts more.

How serious are you now ?
If yes, fine send 50% to me as an assurance and we start of from here, and when I am done, I let everyone know abt it and you send me remaining 50%, so lets test it out.

You get 250 posts and I get 85$, the license fee cost. I don't want IPB or hosting.

Lets check it out , so if its true, more come your way and if its spam, it gets exposed.
