How is stormpages???

is it fast???
do they have a fast ftp...does it work?
mulitple accounts with same email?
anything else i need to know???

Don't know but I'd also like to know if they allow hotlinking and mp3 files. And also if their FTP works.

It's more like uploading a file to one host, and linking to that file from another host.

As far as I see they are fast the FTP doesn't work for me though and FTP is easy so maybe it's just a no go but they say it does work. They allow mp3s but I wouldn't ruin a good FREE service by uploading a bunch of illegal s**t like warez and that other lame trash and then they start banning .zip and mp3 and such also they would limit file sizes. They allow huge files to be uploaded 50 megs and you only get 50 megs so basically NO limit. The uploads are quite fast you can upload about a meg of stuff in 30 sec to a min. Also, you can ask the webmaster for more space if you need it.

1. you're using copyrighted material
2. you're using an illegal codec i.e. radium

see i just gonna use the service as a place to up my .rm files...they are mixes that i have made and will hotlink them to my webpage or maybe even just host a site there...no .mp3 or .zips...i don't wanna kill this service

zips are fine just most services will get angry if they find a bunch of people hosting mp3s from their sites as most mp3s are illegal now(now atleast). Look at napster.

aight i just have to ask this...a bit off topic...but does I know rootsweb doesn't allow .zip files or nothing...(learned the hard way...when it says no .zip...u better believe it). But can i get away with .ace files??? The files just contain my mixes and ----...no warez or nothing

also stormpages has a limit on the file size...the files cannot be bigger than 1 mb...i tried to up my .rm files which are on average around 3 -4 mb and they did not upload. This was because they were > 1 mb

you could probably get away with tar.gz :D

but i guess i will have to try .ace...because u can't encrypt that file extention...if i get my account deleted i will just have to find a 100mb or 50mb host and get multiple accounts
