Suggestions for my NEW gaming site?

Hey all,

I know I have posted my site here before, but I spent quite a while changing it around in the last couple of days. I decided after fidgiting around with my original all "blue" layout I went all "gray". I also changed the whole layout, except for the top banner. Anywho, please give me some suggestions and comments on it.

It's a nice site! I like the design. The only thing that bothered me a little was the banner logo thing, (ya know what I'm talking about, the thing that actually says "Ultra PC Gamers"). It looked a little to small, or maybe just didnt stand out to me. For a little while i thought it was just an ad banner. I only suggest to make it stand out a little more. Maybe make the text in it a little bigger or something. And are you planning to do anything with the right column? Maybe you could use that space for a poll, or some links or anything so it doesn't just look like dead space. You don't have to take my advice or anything, it's just my $.02

Looks cool to me. Are the linked pages the old layout? The new is much better. Huh, I only see half the logo?

Thanks for your reply's. What do you mean by "I can only see half the banner"? Which banner? The top one? If so, what's wrong with it? I can obviously change the banner itself, but I need to know what is wrong with it ;)

Do you think the grey is a little dull? I dont know, compared to the old layout I think it's much better myself. Yes the right side is dead space for now, if you look at my old layout, you'll notice it doesnt work with content in it. Though I might use it for add space, im not exactly sure yet. Thanks.

Yeah, the top one. lol! Have you done something to it? When I last looked it was like chopped off at the middle - could only read half the text - and right aligned ?????:eek: :confused:

??? Um ... ??? Right aligned? What browser are you using if I may ask? It's perfect on IE 5.5. I havn't tried it on IE 5.0 or NS. You mean the one that says:
Ultra PC Gamers
We bring the games to you!

I used IE5 (I think). Anyway, it's OK now. Must have loaded funny (is this realistic???)

lol. Im almost banging my head off my desk trying to figure out what your talking about hehe. I got 15 other people to load it up in different browsers and they had no problems. But then I got a friend to load it up in IE 5.0 and he told me the banner is cut. Hrm. I dont know what's going on here :( Im clueless. Ill have to skim my code later. Thanks for the heads up though. And thanks for helping me out. ;)

just a suggestion with that top banner...

you should make it a banner rotation thingy that rotates each time the page is loaded or refreshed and then keep the text exactly where it is but change some of the characters at the right and left because you dont want your site to look bi-ast (or how ever you spell that :rolleyes: )
