The 100MB transfer limit made me suspicious. And...
nserver: ns0.portland.co.uk 212.15.64.83
nserver: ns1.portland.co.uk 212.15.64.25 :(

Your frog is cute! ;)

oh, didnt see that?? they dont yet have mysql so are you sure?? that they havent changed to their own services? because their ftp address doesnt have the portland address like most portland co-branded hosts ive seen, also the path where your website is located is at /home/username so i think you may be mistaken.

i thought the domain name looked familiar, but that might have been why i didnt choose them then.

f2g.net is a young european-based internet host. We co-locate with a larger U.K.-based ISP and use their servers, based at telehouse, a purpose built co-location facility in Docklands, London which is said to be among the most secure buildings in Europe.

portland is an ISP i think

Yeah, and a webhost that allows you to set up your 'own' hosting for free. They break the rules though. They are supposed to have a Portland button at a visible spot. :D
I think Portland have a paid option too. Maybe they are on that. Hard to tell.
