I have heard a lot about godady, but how can they offer such cheap price?

Because they have lots of customers, they also managed to show that cheap is always cheap and you get what you payed for.

Godaddy do have lots of customers that is the reason why they can offer it for cheap but by all mean they are not a perfect hosting provider for small businesses

Overselling.

Heard another story today from a user on the DevShed forums: He got kicked off when using 900MB of disk space (images and HTML only). GoDaddy said his MySQL apps consumed too much resources. Images and HTML <<<>>> MySQL?

Economies of scale play a part, as does the fact that Founder Bob Parsons is providing hundreds of millions of dollars in funding to the still-unprofitable company because of his successes in previous tech ventures. :)

Interesting tidbit that many don't know: GoDaddy initially launched as a maker of Website building software.
