where's the option to auto logon as a user in win 2000
I found it a few days ago and now I can't :(

I found it a few months ago but I can't find it now... :confused:
Anyway... System Mechanic from www.iolo.com has the ability to turn auto-login on. Just download the 30 day trial and delete it after 30 days. It won't disable it after the 30 days.

Auto logon doesn't save the password in an encrypted format in the registry. It's plain password. Anybody can have a look at it.

I don't like paranoia
I believe in Karma - it's a much easier approach and has never let me down
of course you still need to lock the front door :)
