Request for critique and a question

Hello,

Here are the two sites that I just finished setting up the framework for:

Christian Music Wiki (http://christianmusicwiki.thoughtbattle.com)
Obscure Music Wiki (http://obscuremusicwiki.thoughtbattle.com)

Here are my questions for the experts:

1) How is the look/feel/navigation?

2) What do you think of the concept?

3) How do I go about finding people who would like to be a part of this sort of thing?

they looks exactly the same. what is the point of the sites really? also, i am not sure if i am really feeling the css tabs for that particular site and they dont seem to be spaced properly.

The look is the same but they are different concepts.

They allow those people who like those types of music to add information about the artists that they are familiar with. It is so a community of like minded people can share information.

wikipedia has the same stuff for basically all their pages really. No cotest here y'know. Doesn't really matter content wise most of the time, but eh... content is OK.

Delete your temp internet files and cache in IE and try again.

Interestingly enough, the same exact error, except in IE it's BOLD

Im using firefox also, and it does work normally.

What concerns to the concept and design: well basically u are using mediawiki, and the default design for it. I dont think that the concept is good, as www.wikipedia.com has currently 1,000,000+ articles, and they get updated each hour, so many ppl will preffer wikipedia then your site.

Looks good but I do agree with ako, I would & many others go to the main wiki site. 7/10 :-).

Looks good - but both load really slow (yes I tried them at different times and different locations).

Don't know why, traced the routes and it should be fine so must be the site code.

Is there Flash code or any other that might take site time?

It looks very similar to the wikipedia. I would suggest you should design something unique that make feel to the targeted visitors to stay to browse throughout and come back again to your site. However, work is appreciable! :classic2:

It is powered by Wikimedia. But how much design can you really put in to a wiki?
