of course it was purchased, it was not free. But it is a one of a kind custom design...not a template monster site. As far as long loading, I am not sure what you mean. I have access to 56k and it always loads just fine, its not that big of a site

True, thats why I made my own and encourage everyone to do so (if they have the skills that is :P).

Yeah, whilst it may be paid for its pretty generic and IMO bad. The pixel fonts have been used incorrectly and are now fuzzy and make the layout look unfinished/dirty. Clear, crisp pixel fonts with perhaps even a 1px stroke will work nicely.

True but to the average internet user looking for a new hosting company it might be a freah look esp they get link by word of mouth or referral..

Because you'll never get a site like that to rank well on search engines.

I dont know why u people say that it isnt unique, bla bla bla.... Actually it dosent matter, the fact is that this template is professionally designed, and which is very good for attracting clients.

thanks ako. honestly this is the first real mass negative response I have received, but looking at some of the other comments that certain individuals have made about some of the other designs here...I'm not taking it to heart :)

Template is easy to navigate, but the footer somehow does not show the uptime picture. My first impression the site looks not bad :)

footer should be ok unless you blocked an image from webhostingstuff.com some things need to be re aligned and changed right now though so it may appear a bit weird

well, you came to a place with a lot of good designers here. personally, i think it is a nice and attractive site, but really, it may be a custom template made for you, but there are plenty other ones out there that just have the same feel, and it does not just hit you right away, and say, hey, i want this guy to host me. i could go to 123gohost, or some other site that looks the same and host with them. why would i want to host with you. set yourself apart. if you really want to blow away your competition, then get a different design (make your own, or ask someone here to help you)
i am not trying to rag on you, but your site is just not going to stick in my memory, or anyone elses that has seen 10,000 other sites like it. so, it is a good looking site, but if you cant take the heat, then dont post it here. we are all very picky, especially Johnson (LG), but if you can get him to praise you, then you know you must be doing something really good. make more unique, and repost. 6/10 for overall rating

what I think I would like to see is a real life example of what is considered a great site and unique to the webhosting market. mostly all sites are generally the same no matter how unique that someone thinks they are. I purchased this design because i thought it was nice and clean and fairly unique. Someone show me something that should blow me away please

well, here are a few unique templates. I would not suggest useing them since i am sure someone else already has, but they may give you ideas to do something different with yours. BTW, no one said it was bad, just not good to use templates that are all over the wen when trying to compete with other big companies. anyways, here you go:

all the other ones look like everyone elses. but like i said, i still would not use these ones, just simpy for ideas. if you do like any of them thou, let me know, and if you want them, i can get for free. i have a membership there so that i can give free templates to people. :D

nah I know you werent saying it is bad, and realistically I probably won't change anything with the site other than some of the font cleanup which is actually being worked on now by the designer.

What I am thinking about the sites you have showed me is that I have actually seen all those types before...actually a few of the icons/images used I had on an old concept that was made for me a little bit ago that I later decided not to use. there really isnt anything that unique about any of those, I do like the 3002 one, that one is fairly unique looking. I think the reality of hosting design is that there really isnt anything that can make people go WOW! I really want to host with this person because no one else looks like them, there are far too many hosts to have that happen

Most of my business is from local clients anyway and I needed something clean and very easy to navigate with just a little touch of flash. That is what confuses me a little bit, I usually use my site as a small portfolio for design work and the clients are "wow'd" by it....perhaps because they have not seen the many that could look like it out there somewhere
