hey iam ross just after christmass i started reading harry potter and now onto the 3 book and realy enjoying the series does any 1 wanna help me make a fan site or forum but the prob is i dont now any 1 hu like harry potter so advitising will be hard

You wont need a partner right at the start, get some free webspace and use auto installers to create your forum, html is an easy language so making a website is simple and that is all their is.

Attracting people to your website will require you to do some work, such as spending some $'s on banner ads on a popular website or just visit a popular Harry Potter forum and advertise their if it is allowed.

The only way to promote fan sites is, link exchange, link exchange and once more link exchange. No other way i found.

Google will usually index your site in 2 weeks, maybe less. For getting a higher PR, try to make link exchanges as I already said. Thats the most effective promotion way as 50% traffic comes from SE's.
