I have a site that gets between 200k-300k views a day.
I have a few requirements, and in exchange you get placed ads on the site in one spot.
Requirements:
Bandwidth: 30-50 gigs
Space: 3-5 gigs
cPanel
MySQL
NO linking to your website
NO FORCED PLACED ADS
It's a game hacking community, nothing illegal is hosted.
Thanks.
We would go for paid hosting, but our adsense got canceled because one of our damn members posted to click on the ads, and we didn't know it was 'illegal', and someone reported.
We know now about it, so we can prevent it. We lost our $30 that we earned in 7 days. :S

www.clicksor.com
I belive clicksor also does CPM ($'s per thousand) I THINK its 1 CPM which means you could potentially get a lot of money.
Check this with someone else as I am not 100% sure
or
www.chitika.com
both pay well
chitka between .5-2 $'s a click:D
Get that then look for paid.
And never screw with google.
Thats my advice.

Clicksor has low pay, and chikita doesn't do gaming websites.
I am well aware of the options, I did research.

You could also go with a host who offers a free trial, in that free trial you can do both:
1) Test the host's services
2) Get the money through ads to pay for the hosting

It's a hacking community, but will have nothing illegal? I'm sorry, but I don't think I would want anything regarding hacking, whether it be just talk. Talk is about as deadly as any virus, because you can simply explain where someone should go, and what they can do.

You would be happy to host a site that takes in 200k-300k visitors per day? No ads and no posting?
Do you have any idea what 200-300k views are per day?
Someone else mentioned free trial hosting, this is a very good idea.
Arunforce: However if you really do need free hosting, I have a particular server in mind for you, it would require your choice of either Google Adsense or Yahoo Publisher Ads on EVERY page of your site, this is in attempt to have your bandwidth cover costs. This is a very steep request, but you'd actually be doing me a favor at the same time, so I make my offer. We can discuss this in more detail if you wish.

Shiftbase is currently hosting my forum. MySQL were down yesterday and I contacted them about it, and received a reply within a half hour. Also, the database was back up with in about 2 minutes.
I do wonder how he can host so many huge websites though, mine is small so I hope it isn't bringing him down.

He told me he had about 240 GB's webspace and 3 TB's bandwidth he could use, but he's paying for it, with no one helping whatsoever.
I don't understand it either. He's helping people out, but I don't understand how he's footing the bill.

I heard bad things, mainly that the server is down, and the speed is very slow at shiftbase from a person (i cant say if its true or not), but again the fact that he has a bad rep, and only a couple of posts, is already meaning that you should think twice ;)

Since I have only been hosting with him for a couple of days, so I can't say for sure but the hosting has been fast and reliable, like I said the database was down so I couldn't access my forum for a couple of minutes, but I understand that not everything is perfect. :)
He is doing me and many other people a favor by hosting us for free, so we can't complain. Maybe he has a bad rep because paid hosting providers are mad about him giving away something they charge for, therfor taking their business away and making them look bad. It could be he is just a generous person who has the means to give away something and he does just that, all I know is that it is much appreciated.
I would recommend the hosting, it is the best you are going to get. Just make sure you back-up your data often just like you have to with all hosts.

I should say, there is an ad at the top of the cPanel page, which I click on quite often, so that is something that helps him offer hosting.

You know, what you do is not good cos:
1)He might get banned if too many clicks from same ip/ same time.
2)You are stealing other people's and the google's (or any other network's) money, that aint good:shame:
