I need Free:
Domain Transfer
cgi-bin
SSI
>5mb space
1 banners is OK.

The best I could find on FreeWebSpace is Netfirms.com
But there are 2 problems.

1. It includes SSI but not the command exec-cgi so my log counter does not work.

2. Trying to use the "image html tag" to call my log counter perl script, I can't return an image from the script to the browser. Something must be wrong with Netfirms perl or I don't know what, bacause my script works OK in my payed directoris account.

Any help will be appreciated,
nickline

First off... have you read the FAQ? The chmod permissions are different at netfirms, like 701 for some stuff... I don't remember and make sure that those are right. Also... the SSI exec cgi I think works there... but not if you can't get your cgi to work.

My scipts have the right chmod. (755 for .pl and 766 for .log)

They work, but the problem is that when I use:
print "Content-type: image/gif\n";
what I realy get is:
print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";

That means that the script returns my gif as text.

I need:
Domain Transfer
cgi-bin
SSI

I am also intrested for:
Free Domain Transfer and no banners. (any space, no cgi, nothing else)

Enyone please?

Here it is for www.t35.com

I made an account so www.t35.com/~mydomain is created.
with Ads + Pop-up

I modified the DNS to point to t35 2 days now and nothing happend.
I tried e-mailing the support, but no reply in 2 days.

So t35=BS.

Ok, I was wrong about t35.
All works OK.

Domain Transfer
No Ads
35MB
CGI
SSI
FTP (little slow)

But... , there won't be around too long. ;) trust me on this :)
I am not going to say anything more, you understand that something smells bad here (with all these features and no ads?).
