Hi,

I'm interested in hosting of my free and commercially oriented site http://vallant.biz. I'm just in process of transferring my site from static to dynamic pages and adding new features and functionality to my site. Users will have everything they need to write their Business plan online for free, including: free online tools, spreadsheets, graphs, community, free instructions, free samples.. My current provider can't deliver features to support all that.

www.vallant.biz (http://www.vallant.biz) offers Business Plans, Marketing Plans, Innovation Plans, Web Plans, Consulting, Ready to go Projects for Investors, Business & IT Ideas, Innovations, Product and Service Improvements/Optimization.. to our English speaking customers worldwide. In smaller amount we're also targeting domestic Slovenian market.

I would need: 1-2G space, 10G bandwidth or more, Control panel, SSH shell access, rights to install additional applications or add-ons in my account, latest stable Python with Zope, Plone running behind Apache (needed changes to Apache conf file), five POP3 mails, WebDAV, PHP (PHP memory limit 25MB), at least five MySQL databases, CGI, SSI, SSL, PGP, Backups, good and quick support, 3d party commercial adds allowed. Shared Zope and Plone will be enough, note that one Zope, Plone and my site will occupy 100-200 MB of web server's RAM.

Host's provider link will be on every page. If possible, I would like to pay for the hosting with my services.

Regards,

pv

No host is going to risk giving you shell access.

You definately need to go with dedicated server if you want shell access.

Well there are some that offer shell access for free. You must remember I'm searching Python, Zope and Plone host, this is very rare and completly other thing, shell acess is there standard for every Zope/Plone host provider.

I'm just on one Python host (with free ssh shell) which is only one for free for business sites. He is very frendly and responsive, always available on chat, but, installed applications are way out of date, can't install latest Python and no Zope and Plone, he promises everything but can't find time to do it, waiting for higher version of Python and my POP3 accounts from last october.. But he's trully free, no adds, sadly so busy he can't fixed this. One of best Plone hosts offers all this for 10$ a month.

Well actually paid hosting is ok for me, as long I can pay with my services, for the time being :)

If there are only 15 in the world, how do you expect a free host to provide you with this? It's a pretty far stretch, but hopefully you find someone :).

I know it's tricky. But please read carefully, acctually I offer to pay with my services. But surely wouldn't mind free one, momentery, after all, I'm intending to offer plenty for free to all. Thx, for all replies and wishes.
