I doubt you can find any likes that. Even with cheap provider likes LT

Mind you, LT is not cheap at all.
We used to have 2 servers with LT, both AMD and their techs set ip up so badly, both have NIC and audit errors and when reflected, they want to charge us us$75 to reimage the OS which they screwed themselves (both are new and have no sites hosted).
I personally WOULD NEVER recommend anyone to approach LT for AMD. Their techs are famous for screwing AMDs.

bad luck with you :) I had no trouble when I was with them. Running several Barton, XP2400 servers. I have no idea about your issues, I know they have more new staffs now, but remember LT is unmanaged, they are just in charge of hardware and network. You need to take care about the software, everything!

I understand it being unmanaged but upon setup and NIC, APNIC and audit failures?
I might as well start selling cars with leaking gas tanks. LOL

layeredtech is an excellent provider and I would not judge them off one instance and I am sure there is more than one side to the story. I have many dedicateds with them both resold and personal and they have always done me right on severeal occasions.
pricing wise this is about as close as you can get
Layeredtech or us (resellersw of layeredtech products)
» AMD 3000+ Barton
» 1024Mb DDR RAM
» 80Gb 7200 RPM Hard Drive
» Operating System Choice: Linux/BSD/Windows*
» 1000 Gb Premium Savvis Bandwidth
$80/Mo
$19 Setup

both have NIC and audit errors
Common Centos issue for the audit errors has nothing to do with LT.

I've been doing this for 5 years now.
I wouldn't host a site on someone else's server inside Layered Tech, using your PC.

ASSUMING what I claim about the kernal, audit and apnic error is TRUE, you are not against leasing such servers to your clients? Hm....
So its perfectly alright to lease such servers to your clients and let them PAY again to reimage the OS evcen though its fresh off the shelf? Hm........

well actually I don't pay anything to get an o/s reimaged through layeredtech so depending on the situation I would probably waive the fee. and the reimage fee is $50 maximum anyway not $75
