Honestly you probably wont find a decent provider for $50 per month dedicated box. Might want to consider your options with VPS :D

For $50 it would be better to get a VPS.

A VPS is a shared machine thus it is classed as shared hosting but you can install your own applications (not all) like a dedicated server. It will allow you to host larger websites with dedicated memory and resources but it may not be suitable in all cases you should post what will be using it for.

Most VPS accounts will come with VIRTUOZZO. This is a admin sort of control panel that will show your resource usage and limits and allow you to fully backup your VPS account.

Much like a dedicated server you will have dedicated IP's assigned and full server access which most call root access.

You are able to offer reseller accounts with a VPS but if your looking at becoming a hosting company you should look at a full dedicated server or a reseller account.

Well my advice would be get a reseller account, that way you have someone to manage the server for you & deal with support ect etc. For $50 you could get a very good reseller account. If you want a VPS then take a look at spry.com. If you require any other help please just ask :-).

I would say buy a $10/mo reseller account and spend the rest on billing/helpdesk software/merchant account. As you grow upgrade your reseller account to a higher level, then go dedicated once you are up and makign some money

Maybe you should go with VPS.

As said before, VPS would be your best bet. Do a search on VPS or change your request on this post. If indeed you are looking for VPS, or change your request from dedicated to VPS, try NetCafe's VPS plans.

You'll get a lot better for that.
One possible is
Intel Celeron 2.4
512MB RAM
80GB HDD
1000GB BW
5 usable IP's
$80 Monthly
$15 Setup Fee
Within your budget and not a bad spec, no control panel included in the price but that would be a choice you make as various CP's have different costs attached.
Some are free some cost so if you know which one you want to use?
